He said he didn't know who the team was, or what the offer was, but said it was something that Jerry was keeping in his pocket for now. I imagine this is the scenario of which he spoke.

Its actually more than enough and they might not do it.
9th pick is worth 1350
27th worth 680
59 worth 310
124 worth 48
add them all up and you get 1038 then next years first is worth alot more than 312 points
