I've got a $25 credit at the Google Play store that's burning a hole in my pocket. What are your favorite apps for Android devices?

As for the apps I've paid for. These I currently have installed. I've paid for a few others, but no longer have them installed.

Launcher

Apex Launcher Pro

Tools

Tasker
Jump Desktop (RDP & VNC)

Games:

Cogs
World of Goo

Some that I paid for that I no longer play. (all games)

Homerun Battle 3D
Hotel Mogel
Rebuild (okay but gets very repetitive)
Robo Defense (try the free version first)
ZENONIA (though didn't play it that long)
9 Innings: Pro Baseball 2011
Apparatus
Baseball Superstars 2009 (try free version first)
Flick Golf

I have a photo editor, but I need to double check which one it is.

tablet talk is a must. I'd say Nova Launcher over apex, and GMD gesture (requires root) it gives you gesture base controls like the ipod xl has

Dead Trigger is an awesome game, though I believe it is/was free.
