What's your favorite Mel Brooks movie?

Blazing Saddles is mine, but my favorite scene though is in Spaceballs, where they're doing the password routine with the king. The password is...

1! one

2! two

etc.

Probably Young Frankenstien or Spaceballs. There are a lot of good ones.

Robin Hood Men in Tights would be mine.

"Hey Blinken!" "Abe Lincoln where?"

"Achoo father of a sneeze."

So dumb and simple yet gets me everytime :laugh2:

"oh piss boy...wait for the shake"

LOL,

Sir, you look like teh piss boy.

And you look like a bucket of ****!

Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein. His later work was more uneven, imo.

If you broadened the field to TV, I might be tempted to say Get Smart, which Brooks created and wrote.

I have three clumped together and they are by far his best movies he directed
History of the World
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein

SpaceBalls I liked a lot
LifeStinks was ok

Men in tights was terrible and his worse movie

Dracula dead and Loving it never seen

Those are the stuff he directed

Then you have stuff he wrote, produced and then you have the whole Get Smart TV Series
