Ideally we don't wait until the draft to address WR2 and we add someone via trade / FA. If so, I still think we should double dip and add another WR in the draft as Gallup is likely gone after next season. They might wait until the 3rd but there are some great mid round options IMO. ( FYI - I have Hutchinson and Mims being gone before out 3rd round pick)

Dontayvion Wicks - monster 2021 year then big dropoff in 2022. What happened? His tape is fun to watch though. Wins against man and zone, shows the speed to win down the field and run away from defenders, jump ball ability and not afraid to go over the middle. 2021 tape looked like a top 50/60 guy but the dropoff in production might have him fall to the 3rd+.

Jonathan Mingo - WR in a RB / LBr body. Reminds me of AJ / Deebo in how smooth he is for his size. Appears to be a fairly good route runner, is tough to bring down and is a load in the screen game.

Jayden Reed - super quick feet and appears to be a guy that'll run a sub 4.5 40. A little smaller, but twitchy and is a good separator. Big winner at the Sr Bowl that balled out against a good group of CBs.

Michael Wilson - haven't watched as much of him but big riser in the media after the Senior Bowl where he had a great week. Fits the Dalls mold in size and gets high marks as a route runner.

Wicks and Mingo are the guys I like.

As for Wicks, Virginia got a new HC who totally changed the offense to a run-centric scheme. The QB couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and all of the WR got the dropsies. Then a former player shot and killed three of Wicks' teammates and they canceled the rest of the season.

I like Parker Washington/Penn State and he seems like a player built for a WCO. Puka Nacua/BYU is an underrated player too who's very physical and a good YAC guy as well as offering a deep threat. I don't think he's a mid round WR anymore but Tank Dell is going to be a weapon to the right offense.

Man I was hoping you’d stop by to share some insight…thanks for sharing.

2021 Wicks looks like a DUDE!

Washington looks like a good slot guy.

I forgot Tank! Absolutely love his film just wonder if the Cowboys would even look at him due to size. I think he could be an electric slot.

Parker Washington is one of my favorite players. However, hes likely going to go early and not worth 26.

I’m having a brain fart but the white receiver that plays for Purdue.
Charlie Jones. He's an interesting one too...have heard he might run in the 4.3s but looks like a linear athlete. Reminds me of Alec Pierce who went to the Colts.

I think it’s tough to say who is a mid round guy right now honestly. I see at least 10 guys who can all be grouped together and go anywhere from pick 50 to 150. The combine will sort some of it out, and then it’s just going to be team preference.

Hard to say, but I think the old blue print Dallas has used on it's receivers is out the door. If MM truly wants to run his style of offense he's got to change the receiver core significantly. 6-4 vertical threats are no longer as valuable as receivers who run precise routes, uncover quickly and can offer YAC. Who knows if it will be the same offense he used to run but in that offense I'd say guys like Njigba, Flowers, Downs, Dell, and Washington would all have appeal even if considered primarily slot guys. MM used so much motion back in the GB days and schemed his guys open rather than asking them to beat the DB with size. Tank's a small guy, but you line CeeDee in the slot with a guy like Tank outside but motioning across the formation and you'll have some DB butts puckering.

Reed was a stud two years ago and showed out in Mobile.

I like the Princeton kid.

Jake Bobo of UCLA, formerly of Duke, really impressed me this year. Moves very well at 6'5". If I was an OC, I'd line him up some at Y (split out TE) and challenge defenses with the skinny post. He's too quick for LB's and he's too big for Safeties.

I also saw some good stuff from Rakim Jarrett out of Maryland.

Jennings and Cobb weren’t overly big guys. Hope MM influences the WR type.

Think this is more the area where the team will be wr hunting. I need to start looking at these deeper prospects

We can’t go by that as MM didn’t run their draft. It is going to be interesting to see if they draft the same type or are more open to undersized prospects
