Regarding Favruh . . . good. Retire, ya bum.

OT: I have a seizure every time I go to Twitter and try to decode the cryptic gibberish conversations.

Brett Favre needs to play in 2010 so that Ware and Spencer can put him into retirement during the season.

Brett Favre needs ankle surgery
Posted by Michael David Smith on April 30, 2010 10:58 AM ET
If Brett Favre is going to play in 2010, he's going to have to go through ankle surgery first.

Favre told ESPN's Ed Werder that his left ankle, which he injured in the NFC Championship Game, has continued to be painful and swollen for months. Favre visited Dr. James Andrews, who told him surgery will be unavoidable if he wants to play again.

Favre indicated that he doesn't want the surgery but that he might have it because of his affection for the Vikings and his belief that they can win the Super Bowl.

"We have spoken,'' Favre said in an e-mail to Werder. "To play again, I would need the surgery, as I suspected. This decision would be easy if not for my teammates and the fans and the entire Vikings staff. One year truly felt like 10 -- much like Green Bay for many years. That's what I was missing in my heart I suppose, a since of belonging.''

What is a "since" of belonging? He should put on his wranglers, and ride into an old folks home.

Greenbay fans have to be ready to puke over that.

I am really starting to hate this guy trying to sound like a ****** martyr every time he talks.

he'll probably get the surgery and report for training camp to silence his critics who think he just doesnt want to go thru camp. Childress will probably hold him out citing potential injury concerns.

This is just his excuse to skip camp again and have a press corps camped outside his compound in Mississippi all summer. His ankle probably needs to be cleaned up, sure. But do not be surprised if it is played up as a near amputation and "miracle" recovery in time for him to play late in the preseason.

I'd love for Favre to retire. The Vikings are a big obstacle to us getting to the SB. Without him they may not even make the playoffs. It's a mistake to underestimate him or the Vikings.
