I do t know if you guys remember romo hurting ha back and also the year where he went out with a broken clavicle. It happened before we got Tyron. Tonight felt that way. Even though we lost a lot in the last 4 years, we put up yards and often points. That gave me hope. Today felt hopeless. We couldn’t pass and out up points. Then dak got injured.I hope this era is different but it feels like the beginning of the end of the dak era.

Every time they lined up I had no hope they could do anything. And the penalties. EVERY drive it seemed they got a penalty. So we have a bad Oline, offense is a penalty waiting to happen, Moore is terrible, and we are short on passing weapons with Gallup out.

Its like a perfect storm of disaster.

I respectfully disagree. Well I agree with what your saying but my flashback was the pickle juice game. It felt like the pickle juice game for me. We played like trash and couldn't execute then a player got injured when the game was out of reach. The pickle juice game was the beginning of the end of the Aikman era. I feel/hope that this is the beginning of the end of the Prescott era. He's injury, inaccurate and ineffective since middle of last season.

So I agree it reminds me of the Romo era you are talking about and the pickle juice game. Just a bad night all around.

The pickle juice gave was the absolute eve if that era. It was game one. We got spanned avd it key to the eagles dominating for most of the decade.

Yeah I felt the same way then as I do now. It was more than losing the game. It showed how flawed of a roster we had and how fragile Aikman was. After that game i knew in my heart Aikman was done. I feel the same way about Dak right now. Even of Dak comes back our roster is flawed and the players didn't seem interested, except Parsons.

This time the q b is a big part of the problem but not as big as the fro t office. 40% dak. 60% front office. Dak knows damn well he’s over paid . He knows we have a salary cap. He knows he needs a lot of help. Now he’s getting 40 mill and we traded coop to save money. Jerry could’ve kept coop instead of letting history repeat itself 4 years later.

Feels like a continuation of Stephen being Jerry's right-hand man era. The two of them have played fantasy football front office together for almost 30 years now.

But I'm sure 80 year old Jerry and his kid will outsmart the rest of the NFL someday. They just need a little more time.

I can’t remember a time Romo played as bad as Dak did last night

A lot of times teams just aren't well prepared in week 1. For the last two years Rodgers looked like garbage in week 1. Especially last year. Losing 38-3 to the Saints with Rodgers throwing for a little over 100 yards and 2 picks, that has to worry people.

Apparently Dak didn't look in sync with these new WRs. They should have at least kept Wilson. But now with Dak out, all hope is pretty much gone.

Please, let’s not talk about the pickle juice game. That game was worse than this one tbh

I just pulled up highlights from what is supposedly that game. Week 1 against the Eagles in 2000?

As bad as that game and season was, I wish our D now played with that intensity level. That's the first thing I noticed. Those guys, on both sides, were flying around out there, and hitting a lot harder. But it's not limited to the Cowboys. I've been seeing a lot of lackluster play at the point of impact. It's like everyone now is playing disinterested.

It is absolutely a repeat of the Romo era. How many times did we scream that Jerry needed to bring on capable backups or to draft his eventual replacement? Damn if history isn't repeating itself.

Anyone who blames this on the o-line doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Dak sucked, Dak is a nobody without Cooper, Dak, Ceedee lamb and Pollard got smoked.

Embarrassed worse I ever saw.

Zeke and Dak got everything they wanted and this is what they give in return. Pathetic. We built a team in 2016 that allowed those two clowns to have success and we are paying for it now big time. Gotta hit reset button.
