Or as Kendrick Lamar would say, "B, don't kill my vibe."
If you get both references, then pat yourself heartily on the back.

Dallas showed again today as they have for the last 3 seasons; they are a good team.
The new thing is they are going to slow if not stop the run game.

But you can choose happiness. The 95% likelihood is the season will end in a loss and the time to wallow is bitterness and feel sorry yourself will arrive in 18-20 weeks.
But today, today be great.
Applaud a bunch of guys that coasted to a road victory over a top 5 defense.

The good guys didn't just win, they thrived.
They showed far less rust than CLE and far more firepower.
The coaching was superb in all three phases.
Even the boring kill off in the 4th quarter was smart coaching.
No one wants to expose guys to hits with the game in hand week 1.

It's not a bad time to chose happiness.

I will try to keep the 95% end of year stuff in mind though. It's a win if I can just enjoy the ride and manage not to be too disgusted when the ride comes crashing to a halt.

yesterday was fun but the fact that this cloud hangs over due to lack of playoff success and it saps some of the joy out of wins like yesterday

This should be all of us. Pain and suffering is only a play away. No need to invite it in early.
My college team is hot dog water so I am grateful this was a nice road win as an underdog.
CLE was favored by Vegas!

we get to bask in the win today. But tomorrow its all about the Saints. They will come in here riding high as well. They would love to destroy us on our home opener. We better be ready. If we can get up on the Saints early, we can release the hounds on them. I don't wanna go toe to toe with them. They have some firepower too. Shaheed is no joke. Taysom Hill is just a football player that plays hard all the time. Need to bloody his nose early and often to set the tone.

I just get no joy from regular season wins anymore. It’s been 29 years since our last conference title appearance. You realize how many regular season games we’ve won since then?

The Boyz are back! I'm feeling great about this season after seeing the Cowboys do what they did to the Browns, who were favored.

you have to take this one game at a time , don't look back , don't look ahead, enjoy the season before worrying about the post season, .... take it one year at a time every season's A 1 off IMHO all teams will look differently than the year before...It will take some time to find an identity for 2024 and figure out who we are and get better each game win or lose.

for me it's easier to be a fan when you do it that way.just enjoy this win for few days, than turn toward the saints and all that hype they will get after game 1. meh.. bring IT!

Did you reach in your pocket and pull out three twenty’s and a ten?

agree.

we know how this ends.
It was nice to see the D hold it down when the O sputtered out. Been awhile since we seen that. Successive 3 and outs used to doom the D and lead to Ls. Hopefully it continues. With minimal touches for Duece and Luepke hopefully Delvin gets some burn next week. With cap # set now hopefully explore a move for another RB.
