Felix Jones looks bigger than I thought

He's actually a big and strong runner. Has just enough wiggle to make it very effective. He goes for 0 to 60 in no time, too.

He isnt that strong, and I think he has great wiggle, but other then that we agree.

I thought F Jones was actually up to about 210-212 lbs from 207 lbs which was what he was listed at coming out of college.

In any case, he'll get stronger as well over the next couple of years. But 210 lbs for his height isn't bad either.

Absolutely, he's a strong runner. If that's not obvious to you, you're blind. And no he doesn't have much wiggle, as I'd define it. He just has great burst, so when he does change direction it's very effective. He's not going to juke you out of your jock.

I still think Felix reminds me a lot of Julius. I saw some pretty good speed tonight, but not much making anybody miss. Julius his rookie season looked a lot better.

pfft, Julius doesn't have the vision or cutting ability at full speed of Felix. Not to mention he is a lot better receiver out of the backfield

Other than Julius' Thanksgiving Day romp against Chicago, he never showed much make-you-miss stuff. I do agree that Felix reminds me a little of Julius (pre-bulked up days) in terms of build and overall style. But I do think Felix displayed more natural make-you-miss stuff in the open field tonight.

The one thing I wish Felix had was that top gear. You'd love for him to have taken that reception to the house. But even going back to his college days, he does get caught from behind.

I didn't see the game I just looked at the high lights I just got home from my friend house and he didn't have NFL netowrk checked the yards looked at the reviews and he don't seem impressive to me.

Your simply crazy. I don't think anything else needs to be said. If I wasn't on from my mobile I'd tell you just how crazy you are. Can't believe you can find that out in one preseason game. He almost took it to the house a few times and made some plays no back on our team last year could of made. You sir are the exact type of member I put on my ignore list. You don't even know what your talking about.

Felix looked good tonight, but he only showed me what I already knew about him.... Felix likes to bounce everything to the outside and that's where he had success tonight... He may not be much better than Julius, once first-team defenses start playing him heavily to the outside.... I'd like to see him run better between the tackles... In short, he needs to show better vision at the LOS, and not just bail to the outside... I'm not totally down on the guy, he's definitely got big-play ability, and hopefully he can bring some big plays, not only to the RB position, but also on Kick-Returns...

I give him a B- so far...

I thought Felix looked a little tentative early on running up the middle. And then later he seemed to be driving and picking up those additional yards. So I thought he looked good and once he settles into his role he should be fine.

I was surprised by his vision and quick burst to the open space. It was only one preseason game, so I take all of this with a grain of salt....good and bad.

Felix looked ok - stats were good but he made all his yards on two plays.
I do think he runs/looks a bit like Julius but THEOGT is right in that is is more flexibile and fluid in the upper body. I don't think he has any better burst than Julius though.
Felix does run upright and wants to bounce everything outside.
Lets see how he does the rest of the pre-season.
