And he looked better out there. Still not his explosive self, though. Hopefully on Thursday...

I heard he still had the vaginal splint on......once that comes off, watch the **** out.

I believe we need to find another kick returner until we start to see more of a spark from Felix. He tiptoed to one decent return Sunday, but he hasn't accelerated to full speed on a return since before his injury.

I thought he looked better yesterday than he did the last few weeks on kickoffs.

Maybe better, but not good, and if he's not really better than someone else we could throw out there it makes no sense to use a cog in our offense for return duties.

KO returners that run full speed right away and just run into the pack of players aren't ever your top return guys. The patient ones that allow the blocks to set up and then turn on the jets are your better return guys.

The hole opens and then they burst through and keep the gear set on high. Felix was one of the best return guys in college for a reason....

No brains allowed! Don't use your brain!

If I were a kick returner, I'd just run straight past the wedge and past all my developing blockers! I'm an expert! Listen to me! Internet Genius!!
:eek::

Yeah, so ....... ? I never said anything about running blindly without regard for where the seam is.

The fact is that kick returners that commit to a seam and accelerate to full speed are the effective ones. They choose the hole and hit it hard. Those that tiptoe around just give the coverage team more time to box them in, and that's what Felix is doing.

And by the way, even with his tiptoing he has run into his own blockers backs a few times.

dudes and ladies idk in the first half they showed him getting wacked by some Commander and i couldve swore there was a brace on his knee. Does anyone else recall this or question if he took it off?

Glad to see Felix getting healthy.

That game was a positive step.

Glad to see him get the ball.

He needs more touches.

Eventually, I think Garrett will make Felix a vocal point.

It's coming.. Garrett isn't stupid.

Brace was off according to media.
The comment that the best KR don't immediately run is hilarious.

I noticed on the kickoff, ran a smidge better, still nowhere near his explosive past
