I'll just go over the play at 1 minute in against GB. The safety is absolutely sitting on that route. The TE should have cut harder and could have broken up the pass had he done so but he would have had to done a near impossible stop and turn more than 90 degrees way downfield in order to stay in front of the safety. The throw was a terrible decision before it left Dak's hands.
When you step back and look at the play, there are no receivers really open. Here is where the Dak supporters complain about the receivers again. Look closer though. All 5 receivers ran a 15 yard pattern. All FREAKING FIVE OF THEM. That's horriffic play design. The receivers are literally running into each other. The defenders are in a position where they can defend multiple receivers and aren't looking at any underneath or crossing routes. Dak basically has to choose between 5 covered receivers, thread a needle and hope that the receiver is on the same page.
As you go through the year, you will see this same pattern play out time and time again. All the receivers at the same route depth. All of them covered. Dak (because he was told to be aggressive) throws anyways and bad things happen. If you make the above throw over and over and over, the defense is going to come away with the ball way too frequently. There are 3, maybe 4 defenders in the vicinity. Its a statistically bad situation that lead to bad statistics (INT's).
