Looks like Carson may challenge Scott for a spot. Will see how he does in TC and PS. Like how he does not hesitate in making a tackle. Plays tight and attacks the ball.

I think both make it. Goodwin and Wright battle for the special teams specialist but we carry Diggs, Bland, Lewis, Scott, Carson and then the 6th guy

Noteworthy and I didn't catch this on draft day..... my pet cat Qwan'tez Stiggers went 2 picks later with a trade up by the Jets.

I hope Zimmer leaves Harris alone. I just remember Zimmer being so focused on technique that our CBS would always be running right next to the WRs while they caught the ball Instead of blocking or intercepting the pass.

Another McClay pick?

At least there is competition.

Bland balled out. Rumors were Scott was highly favored by McClay. Who wins?

Its still boring since its a lie.

And that’s this guys problem, never plays the ball. Diggs and Bland both excel at playing the ball

Good value getting him in the end of the 5th round. Can't wait to see what happens when Zim and Harris get ahold of him and coach him up.

Beebe and Carson are the 2 guys I’m most excited about. I think both are going to be players. Carson did a press conference and he broke down his weekly routine and how he preps physically/mentally. I was impressed. I’m excited for him.

I have no doubt the sixth guy will be Goodwin. They just love him as a special-teammer, plus they've learned they can cut him to get a player to IR without anyone wanting him. That's a valued talent for this organization.

Voch Lombardi always does a very good job breaking down film.

The Cowboys picked a very good talent at CB late in the 5th round. It's going to be fun watching Caelen Carson do his stuff with the Cowboys.

Voch straight proclaims on his YouTube e he doesn't parse video clips of players he evaluates. He went on for about 10 minutes the other day.

Assuming it's true....you have to respect it.

Posters here have hated him. Why? Show me that he is lying. Not that he is wrong on a pick...show me he is lying about the players he evaluated and that he was lazy.

He got frustrated with baldinger for taking snippets. Who's wrong?

Voch seems educated and in the circle. That being said...I would like to know an educated persons opinion on bland vs Scott vs Carson without a bunch of side stepping about different position assignments

Don't be lazy and say he was wrong on so and so...show me he was lazy and parsing good snippets of players to evaluate.

For real.

It’s comedy that folks make up what they wanna see.

Three INTs in 36 games. And before anyone trots out the old “he didn’t have many picks because teams didn’t throw his way…” Stop it. Put on the Florida State and you see him getting worked over.

Not even saying this guy is a bad pick but really reacting to our fanbase’s annual tradition of proclaiming every Day 3 pick of ours as “the steal of the draft!”

That said, I do like the way he attacks bubble screens and ability to mirror receivers, though he does not track the ball well and is often late locating it.

Solid depth guy.

Most 5th round comp pick corners will need development. What has people like myself excited are the traits the natural ability he does show.

He may not have had the picks but he did have PBUs so he's not devoid of the ability to play the ball.

And of course, letting Harris and Zim coach him up is never a bad thing.
