No co-championship for OSU, stands pat at three, obviously LSU and Bama flip slots, Arkansas rises to top five finish, Stanford falls to 7, Kansas State finishes third in Big 12 while Baylor finishes second, Texas loses ranking to finish season.

Texas barely beat BYU....and had more losses. I am ok with BYU being ranked better.

I am more upset that I have had to watch 2 years of some of the most mediocre QB play I have ever seen....and this from one of the top 5 programs of all time and the richest program in the country. Hell, buy a QB for crying out loud. We go from Brown to Applewhite to Simms to Young to Colt to trash......Then we have a chance to get a great QB prospect and we pass on him because we dont want to hurt the feelings of a legacy player.....Im sorry, Colt McCoy is one of my favorite college players of all time, but his brother has done nothing to garner any favoritism.....Kick him to the curb and get a better QB in there. So what if feelings get hurt, this is big time college football. I am a huge Mack Brown fan, but his sentimentalism hurts the program at times.

Agreed. UT has everything it needs to compete for the BS title except a QB. Our QB play has been so poor since Colt left. We've got a solid defense, solid run game, we just need a QB!!!!!
