Last January after three quarters.....Green Bay led Dallas, 41-16.

Yesterday after three quarters.....New Orleans led Dallas, 41-16.

Dallas has been favored the past two home games only to get curb-stomped by supposedly lesser teams.

In both games, nobody seemed to care. Just dumb looks on the sidelines without much ado.

Troy, Irvin, and Emmitt cared. A lot.

Romo, Dez, and Witten cared. A lot.

Staubach and crew did, too. A lot.

Dak, Micah, and CeeDee, meh, not so much. Just platitudes and self-absorbed nonsense.

This roster is fatally broken. It was dumb to invest so heavily in it. Nothing will change until it's gone, and we start over.

The culture is similar to that of a rotting corpse. The team just lies their dead when kicked and prodded at. It truly is a shame.

Truly, at its core, the culture is snobby. The players are more focused on the glitz and glam of the cameras as they walk into the stadium with their pompous pregame outfits on. I’ve said this for years in this board but the players are just..performers in the best sense. They don’t care about winning. They care about money, numbers, and the spectacle of it all. The fame, the money, and everything that comes with it. Winning is simply a good side effect at best for these players. You think they really care about a superbowl? Tuh. This franchise has been stuck in an endless rut because this mentality has never left the players. It’s continuously passed down from Jerry Jones and it permeates the locker room, seeping into the minds of entering rookies and old vets from actual professional teams alike. I’m always reminded of the year we picked up Bennett. After a significant loss, he said the culture was completely different from the Patriots and that the locker room was essentially toxic, immature, misguided, spoiled, soft, and downright putrid. He spoke on contracts briefly as well if I recall (an obvious attack at someone). He was frustrated and eventually retired from football after the season. The locker room quite literally ended his love for the game as he saw the state of his final NFL team and fled from football forever.

Not sure why we’d have any more hope with our leadership starting over ?

It is what it is and has been thru this entire era regardless who our QB and HC, etc has been.

There’s one constant . And until it goes away there is very limited hope at best.

Yeah but but about the three consecutive 12 win seasons?

As a poet once said, "Roses always smell like boo boo around here"

Romo and Witten didn’t give a damn and neither did Ware. I remember very well them having to hold Dez back because he cared too much and they considered it disruptive because he had fire. They don’t belong with those 90s Cowboys.

I went to the game and spent over $200 on beer for my wife and I.

It’s my fault Dak got that contract…..
I dont know if your serious or not, but it is the people who go to the home games, that support jerry and his way of doing things.

If only 50% of those people would stop going to games and the stadium was half empty, (dont sell the tickets to others lol)
That would not affect revenue except for stuff like beer sales , food etc , but it would embarrass jerry and he would then have to make changes.

But the stadium is always full lol , so jerry takes that as fans approving of him as owner, gm, president , head of marketing and sales, and
voice of the cowboys.

Some dont go to games, but they sell thier tickets, so that seats still have someone in them, so that isnt a good protest.
People need to stop going to home games ! lets see some empty seats and at least wear a sack on your head if you go.

I mean really it’s the TV deals lol.
the money comes from tv deals, but jerry decides who to pay big contracts to.
He decides to buy FA or not to.
He decides which FA to buy, and he decided to get elliot instead of henry or aaron at RB, Zim wanted kendriks.
He decided to not get almost no FA except those 2.

100%. Those teams were every bit of soft as the recent and current. Team Cabo was every bit as disappointing as these.

You must have missed my post where I got free tickets. My wife had never been so it was a no brainer. And the beer was correct but we drank a lot of it! We needed it.

I’m saying the amount of players get has increased due to the Tv deals. The more money the league makes the higher the contracts get.

We've spoken about this before and it has to stop! You could have spent half that on beer if you told the wife she gets water only (and i dont mean bottled, from the tap only).
