First 4 rounds

I think this is one of those best case and fill our 3 biggest needs. LG, WR, LB

24. Chris olave - wr (had take him over lb dean)

56. Zion Johnson -OG

88. Brandon Smith - lb

128. Jeffrey Gunter - DE
I don't see the ceiling of these guys as any higher than the ones they are replacing except maybe Zion, and that is a big maybe for at least a year.

Olave's ceiling is less than Coop, IMO
Zion ceiling might be higher than CWill, but it usually takes 3-4 years for OL to gain the functional strength due to age.
BSmith ceiling isn't any higher than LVE
Gunter ceiling isn't any higher than Gregory or Armstrong.

So good draft to keep Dallas where they have been for the last 26 years, IMO.

Hate it

Olave is wasted on a QB who can’t read defences

Johnson won’t be there at 56

Give me Green in rd 1 and Jones (DT) in rd 2 to actually improve the team

If we could come out of this draft with Dean LB , 1-DE, 2-OL and 1-WR than I'm good

I've done many simulated mocks. In a high number of them, Penning is available at 24. This would be a dream scenario. He or Jrdan Davis at 24 would be awesome.

We don't need another edge guy, even if we lose Randy and Dlaw. Just sign Basham and Armstrong, move Micah into Dlaws spot. The young fellas will get their chance finally.

We help the entire defense if we can land Jordan Davis, then line him up next to Gallimore inside. That would be scary ****. He or penning at LT makes sense at 24.

I might go as far as to say Penning they want to be there at 24. But after the combine I think there is very little chance that he lasts that long.

That would be three of the last four first round picks used to acquire WRs. I like that we keep throwing first round picks at WRs.

Really helps balance out the roster.

Especially considering how many of them continue to enter the league every year. Let’s misjudge this position too, just like we did when we paid Zeke. That deal has worked out so well. Let’s spend yet another 1st rounder on the most abundant position in football.

2019, 2020, 2022. Go Cowboys!

Than who’s making the tackles at LB?

LOL. Wut?

Awful take.

The first two picks would be instant starters and upgrades. At this point until proven otherwise I'm going on the assumption that Lawrence and Cooper are gone.

What is your opinion of Penning ? did he play against smaller school talent.

Zion is incredibly strong. He's a significant upgrade over Williams an hour before he even wakes up. Problem with this mock is that he is likely a 1st round pick.
