Ok this is todays fish evening show where he talks about Micah not coming to work and what MM said about it.
I agree, Micah needs to be disciplined as to coming to work and realizing that he has a job, beyond the games..
Right now Micah just does what he wants when he wants to.

Then he gets into Romo and Dak back in 2016, and who was the better qb, and how the lockeroom decided romos fate.

And some other good stuff. Fish has a temper, and he went off on a guy today who said something he thought was dumb, and the guy paid $10 to
have Fish read it out loud, and Fish tells him he is stupid and he doesnt want his $10. He got mad at a guy last week and kicked him out of the chat,
and then let him back in on monday. The guys is a paying regular named joey, and I think he likes pushing mikes buttons.

last few shows he has said some really funny stuff about Stephen A, and his history which was good, and blasting Skip ever chance he gets,
one time he said the only mate Skip could get is a blow up doll. He also gave skips history.
But todays show was very informative on what happened when dak replaced romo, even though tony was ready to play.

Stopped reading after that.

Romo’s lack of leadership is probably why he lost his job if anything.

I wouldn’t necessarily disagree with you, but I think Romo had a harder time connecting with the youth of that team more so than his leadership being the culprit. I personally never viewed Romo as a “leader”, more like a guy who did what he had to do. Dak definitely separated himself as the guy who connected with the youth of the team and his natural leadership skills.

I agree to an extent. I was more shocked that Witten seemed to buy in too as well as Dez. There’s some truth to what you’re saying though.

I’m not surprised at all with regards to Witten. He always struck me as a guy who would follow what the coaches wanted over his QB. Dez I was a bit surprised about considering the amount of success and how much his career benefited from Romo. Romo made sure to use what Dez did best.

Well it is stupid to let a locker room decide who the QB will be lol.
That is for the HC and the GM to decide, and they went with the younger qb who was dirt cheap!
What their stupidity did was cost them a trip to the SB. I think with romo they beat GB, then seatlle, and at least
go to the SB and maybe win it.

They had the best OL, the best version of elliot, so great run attack, they just needed a better passer, which was Romo.
Then the next year or so they could have made Dak the starter and let him take over.

But they went cheap and cast out Romo, so they got what they deserved, which is nothing !
Been nothing up to current year, and is exactly what the jones boys deserve! JG got what he deserved too, fired and ridiculed, and
wound up a cheap tv announcer.

Dak was good that year, but he struggled to get over 200 yds passing back then , and he wasnt ready to be a playoff QB yet, and has always
struggled in playoffs even after getting better.

I mean who would you want against GB and Aaron Rodgers, young dak who might hit 200 yds passing, or Romo who could pass for 400 if needed?
Romo was the guy to start in that year for the playoffs, and if he gets hurt again, just put dak in, simple.

The jones boys and JG instead made a horrible decision and it cost them a very possible trip to the SB.

Unfortunately the success Dak had in 2016 had less to do with him and more to do with the quality of that roster. Not sure Romo would have had any more success against GB in the playoffs that year. Dak played great and our defense played awful in that game.

Understand that from the draft to the start of training camp is a relatively slow time for any NFL team. BUT is a great time for guys like Mike Fisher who can churn out articles and podcasts about the team. Fans are hungry for any news about their team. You get a lot of stuff that really amounts of nothing like this blurb.

And remember that team management will feed a lot of team friendly fluff stories to reporters who cover the team. Especially if the reporter is seldom if ever critical of said management.

Agreed. I think that was their best shot at making the SB and at the very least the NFC Championship game. If Romo came back rusty or played poorly, you at least know that the young QB behind him can play so pulling QB1 would have been an option.

The Romo they were getting was probably gonna be the 2014 version with an even better RB. They blew it. Not surprised. At least let them compete for the job. The locker room would come around after watching the better player win the job (no matter who that player was).
