QB-Until the team makes a decision on Dak, we have to assume he is their starting QB for at least next season. Decision has to be made on Trey Lance after next yr and they still have Cooper Rush under contract.

Low (for the short-term)

RB-run game was a total disaster, yes some blame can go against the OL and scheme, but Tony Pollard won't be back. Dowdle, showed flashes, but he cannot stay healthy, more of a #3 type of back, they simply don't trust Duece in pass pro. Whole positional group needs to be rebuilt.

Immediate Need

OT-a lot will depend upon if they decide to bring back Tyron Smith. They do have prospects in their pipeline, but are probably backups, until proven otherwise.

Medium

G-Tyler Smith was one of the highest rated Guards this year, but Zach Martin is aging and his play is starting to tail off. Bass is in the pipeline, but a future starter in needed within the next two seasons.

Medium

C-Tyler Biaz. is a fa and I don't think he will be resigned. Look at the final 4, 3 of them have elite Center's. The team's run game hasn't been the same since the retirement Travis Frederick, time to find an elite option.

Immediate Need

TE-Ferguson looks like a future star. Schoon is still developing as a receiver, but should continue to be solid as a blocking TE.

Low

WR-It's Cee Dee Lamb, with a few flashes from Cooks and a bunch of guys. This whole unit needs to be rebuilt, outside of Lamb. I don't expect Gallup to return, Cooks has 1yr left on his deal, Tolbert looks like out new Noah Brown.

Immediate Need

RB is tricky because it’s not a great draft class. Henry still appears to have some juice left in the tank but do we want to dish out 10m+ for a RB? Roll the dice on Jacobs coming off an injury? Try to trade for someone like Michael Carter who Den dropped?

Not sure what the answer is in in FA but I’m trying to sign at least 1 vet and land one of the top RBs in the draft.

OT - just bring back Tyron if we’re all in. Fine drafting an OT if it’s BPA but would love to know what they think about Richards moving forward.

C - strong class at the top. Let Tyler walk and try to draft one.

WR - agree. It’s helpful to have Cooks for 1 more year but we need another weapon. Loaded class so would love to see us draft someone in the first 4 rounds.

Corley says Hi! Lol

Agreed on Tyron won't cost a fortune and still very good.

You would think with such a loaded RB vet class, you may get a discounted price. There could be 5-6 stud backs hit the open market. Agree, you double dip-1 in fa, 1 in the draft. I would do the same at LB.

Could draft another G/T like Tyler Smith, but I see more the immediate need is at Center for next season. Actually, expecting Tyron to be resigned to another team friendly 1 year deal based on playing time.

You cannot just rely on 1 receiver and 1 TE, you need more options in the passing game. What happens if either go down? Tolbert/Gallup have shown nothing in 2 seasons. Brooks actually looks like he has a little upside. Bryant could be a wildcard, but they cannot just rely on hope. I believe the team needs a true X receiver, where Lamb is more of a Y/Z.

I’d probably focus on DT, LB, RB and Tyron in FA.

Draft in no order:

C
WR
RB
DL
DB

The way I see it, it's shorter to list the positions I wouldn't want to draft, on both offense and defense.

QB... it would tough to maneuver around Dak. He'll be getting a huge guaranteed extension because of his cap hit alone.
G.... Tyler Smith is All-Pro, Zack Martin has a couple seasons left in the tank, a rookie G isn't sniffing the field for probably 2 years.
TE.... Ferguson is a beast, and we just spent a 2nd on Schoonmaker to sit behind him.

Other than those spots, I think a good enough rookie could find playing time anywhere.

First Team All-Pro.
Bass is in the pipeline
I think this fan base is greatly overrating Bass. He struggles with quickness, Decent back-up though.

Agreed. Gallup can disappear. Cooks is in his last year of his deal. Tolbert always looks like he's running in slow motion (looks overly cautious).

WR is a sneaky big need.

I'm not letting this stop me from drafting a guy. Packers have done this back to back. Let him sit and develop.

Not that I'm taking one in first with so many other needs but certainly rd 5 it's on table

I like Corley, but gosh, the small school studs have me terrified after Tolbert.
Understandable. Tolbert showed some improvement this past year taking snaps from Gallup.

We'll see how Corley fairs at Sr Bowl, only 4 small school guys there 2 rbs a CB and him.

I think a lot of it depends on what we do in FA with Tyron and Tyler B. If we let both or either walk I could see them forcing an OL pick at 24.

Would love to know what they think about the developing youngsters on the OL.

My thinking is C, LB, RB will be the top priorities. Love to address other areas, but need to see it to believe it with how this front office operates.

Fastest track to see the field would be at Center and Running Back. If Tyron departs, you can also say Tackle.

-Zach Martin did receive the all pro, but clearly he is starting to decline. He is also starting to miss games each year.
-Agree about Bass, he is being overrated at this juncture. Until he can ascend to becoming a quality starter, he is simply a backup player who will have to earn a roster spot.
-Wide receiving core is a total mess. They need to add more talent to the positional group from top to bottom. Cooks, Gallup, Tolbert could potentially all be gone by 2025.
-I think the biggest sneaky need might actually be a DE, Armstrong/Fowler are fa's. DLaw has a yr left on his contract, Sam Williams cannot be trusted.
