I've been an assistant coach the last couple of years on my son's team, but he is moving up a division from his current coach and some of his teammates. I'll likely be taking on coaching his team at the next level and would like to take some of what I've learned and add to it.

Yeah tackle the ball carrier then pull his flags off. Works every time :laugh2:

We've got a couple of kids who already do that, and it's highly encouraged by the coaches. gets called one out of 3 times though....

I have played flag football a couple of times and can't stop the urge from burying the ball carrier when I get the chance. Old habit is hard to break. :laugh2:

Unless your kid's like under 6 or 7 years-of-age, I'm MORE than confident he gets PLENTY of practice "pulling" on things.
