Lots of fun to get out there and run around. It was a great play...I crept toward the LOS, baited the QB into thinking he had an opening deep and bailed out right before the snap. He threw it right to the "gap" and I grabbed it.

Casmith that's awesome man. I can't wait till our flag football season starts in the fall here again. I can't get the lazy bums in our league to agree to a spring league, they all play that dang softball, so I'm looking forward to it.

I know the team I'm on is starting practice this Sunday though so I've got that to look forward to.

In fairness, the QB isn't exactly a world-beater. He was trying to run the option in flag football. Pretty ridiculous.

One year in our league we had a team come in from a league about 45 minutes away that 90% of their offense was based on the option.

Now the problem was, and they hated our league because of this, that we didn't allow the downfield screening, or the blockers to put their hands on the rushers in order to guide them. So their option offense simply didn't work without the more physical nature of the blocking up front, and then the WR's being able to screen downfield which they couldn't do in our league.


They did very poorly that year and have never comeback in our league since as a team. They've had a few of their players comeback, and play on other teams in our league, just because they wanted to play more but their whole team never returned.
