Wow. Good luck to the people flying into games later in the season if the game day can change.
Would most likely have to schedule your flights and hotels as if you are staying until Tuesday now.

Or even for a local fan....scheduling off from work on a Sunday or Monday evening to attend the game...but finding out later the game day has been switched.

This is all a money motivated move, besides a regular season additional game the only move they have left. I'm in agreement with you all, but that is how they see it.

Great for TV, terrible for traveling fans. Tells me which produces more revenue for the league.
I seriously wonder if the league would even care if half the fans didn’t show up for games in person. The money now is the TV networks. Fans are becoming window dressing.

I’d be so pissed. I live in Miami so I want to attend that game. I doubt they flex a Cowboys vs Dolphins game though. Unless we’re both undefeated or something like that.

The NFL made $17 billion in 2021, and it's higher now with the new TV contract. They "only" lost $4 billion of that in 2020, when fan attendance was drastically reduced.
