Love this kid....He was unblockable @ the Sr bowl when they moved him to DT. Not big.....but he is fast...We just need someone that can get to the QB from the DT spot.I'd take that draft.
The 2nd round pick is a guy I've been thinking would be a good pick for Dallas.
Yep, he's best at 3T rushing imo, but he's a good run stopper at DE. He has some good tape. Definitely adds to the pass rush.Love this kid....He was unblockable @ the Sr bowl when they moved him to DT. Not big.....but he is fast...We just need someone that can get to the QB from the DT spot.
Probably has a lot to do with it........I can see the appeal of Washington over Kincaid. I know statistics rarely tell the whole story when projecting college athletes to the pro's, but I can't help but wonder why such a freak athlete would only have 45 catches and 3 TD's in 3 years, even in a run heavy offense like Georgia's. Are we looking at consistency issues or lack of trust in the route tree, or was it simply a numbers game? I'm seeing a crazy high ceiling, but I'd be apprehensive to roll the dice with a really good prospect in Kincaid on the board.
Bowers is pretty good, gotcha. As a first round TE, you expect your guy to be able to put points on the board. Washington can move the sticks. 21 of 28 receptions were for first downs in '23. I don't understand why a quality program like Georgia wouldn't utilize a 6'7 target with good hands and speed close to the endzone. It appears that the traits are there, exceptional athlete, great blocker, a knack for making the tough catch, etc. I'm just struggling with the thought of bringing in a guy with three collegiate TD's and limited production to play TE1 in an offense that had very few playmakers last season.Probably has a lot to do with it........
I looked forward to your draft for so many years now Floaty. I've always loved the effort you put into it.Well there it is.....the one you have been waiting for.....Flame suit on.
This is the part of the year @Floatyworm claims to have sources, but is wrong about everything
Georgia was just so good. Two time defending National Champions. Watch the SEC Championship game and you will see how good Washington can be against a quality opponent. To be honest Georgia could have ran the wing T and still would have destroyed everyone.Bowers is pretty good, gotcha. As a first round TE, you expect your guy to be able to put points on the board. I'm gonna laugh when Washington is the pick...This is the part of the year @Floatyworm claims to have sources, but is wrong about everything
