I kicked pretty good today, and romo is really good holding, so we will work on it some more and see where we are, but looking good; from thefan

If anything maybe this helps to boost his confidence going into this next game.

does seem like folk has been energized with romo holding, to me you could hear it in his voice

Folk better hope he does not have any more misses and especially lame ducks because the team is making a major change for him. If he falters down the stretch then I'd expect him to get the boot.

Good to hear that now he has to bring it Sunday when he gets his opportunities. I expect him to hit his kicks from 50 yards in

no matter what i dont think you give up on him this year,

i think the injury that he waited to have in april has effected him more than we know, then him losing brad johnson holding added even more

its a shame though with 52 players on the team, not counting the kicker folk, that you cant find a holder

some of our problem is what a player told one of the announcers on the fan, that player didnt want to play on special teams,

thats part of the problem still

these players are paid a ton of money and some of them dont want to play on special teams still to help the team
thats sad

I like Romo holding. It opens up possibilities. Not worried about the past issue. The only itty-bitty thing that bothers me is some freak play where Romo ends up injured. But that can happen anytime I guess.

Which player said others players refuse to play special teams or play but don't try? This is the first I have heard that. Surprised it didn't make more news.

Obviously I worry about some injury too.... but that scenario is highly unlikely.

The only thing that worries about me is the amount of time he is able to dedicate to holding. I know he did it before while he was the starting QB, but I'm assuming he is slightly rusty right now.

Other than that though, it's great to see him step up. That's a true leader right there. I still don't understand how nobody else on this team can hold, but oh well.

I have heard it before, One of the dallas cowboys players told one of the announcers that he didnt want to play on special teams period. The announcer didnt say which player, but one player told an announcer on thefan that

If you remember word was also that last year, bruce read was begging for players to play on special teams and most of them didnt want to play on special teams

thats part of the problem with our team to me, the attitude, want to

just like this year, Romo stepped up and said i will hold for folk on field goal attempts, thats what your suppose to do as players, do what you can to help the good of the team

but when some players dont want to play on special teams, it speaks volumes about the attitude on this team

thats why to a degree why the dallas cowboys drafted primarly for special teams players in the draft this year;

I agree however I think you would get the same response from many players around the NFL about not wanting to play on Special teams I do not think for a second that this is only taking place with Dallas. I have heard other players throughout the year’s talk of not wanting anything to do with special teams.

My own personal feeling is if a team is paying you money to be a member of their team then you do what is asked of you.

Crayton and Buehler need to start practicing together on the side...:bang2:
