Something the Ravens and 49ers have done for a decade is beat the hell out of the other team physically

The reason Dan Campbell is successful is his goal is to beat the hell out of the other team

The reason the Eagles were successful last year is their offense was predicated on beating the hell out of the other team.

One of the lone exceptions for this is Mahomes because he has a rocket launcher for an arm and had Olympian sprinters at WR.

Go back to the 07 patriots. They lost to the Giants because the Giants DL beat the hell out of them. Same with the Broncos vs the Seahawks in Super Bowl in 14 and Chiefs-Bucs when the KC OL was beat up.

Dallas will never win until the first goal is dominate the LOS. And not just in pass pro/pass rush. But stop the run and then beat the hell out of teams on offense.

Our defense didn't get physically beat up as much as they blew coverages. Sure, the Pack's run game was effective, but it wasn't like 2018 vs the Rams. What killed us were the shot plays Love had easy access to.

We tried that already. In 2014 we had a first round pick at almost every position on the OL. And Demarco Murray was absolutely killing it running the ball. Running over people like he was a dump truck.

Still lost to the Packers in the divisional round.

The defense was awful and let a 1 legged Rodgers beat them. You gotta be able to play bully ball on both sides.

I hear you. But as your avatar pointed out. You can't have a steak on every plate. The defense held Rodgers to 26 points. 1 legged or not. It's still Aaron Rodgers in his prime. So 26 points is not a horrible result. But even with 26 points that should still have been enough for the Cowboys to win the game with the monster offense they had that year. To outscore them I mean.

Didn't happen.
