Oh yay!!! He's finally stayed healthy long enough to be given some carries on a team who has to run the ball a lot cause they've got an average, at best, QB.

Lets put him in the Hall of Fame now cause, obviously, after two games he's proven all the doubters wrong who have 2 other years of evidence that he's not been what they thought he should be.

I don't hate him. I liked him when he was coming out.

I just need more than two weeks, especially with one of them coming against the Rams (who in case you've forgotten completely stink), before I'm going to hop back on the "DMac is a stud" bandwagon.

Now if he goes the next 5 games and does nothing will we be seeing a thread from you about that?

Who gives a crap? I'm an Arkansas fan. Big deal. I don't care what any of those guys do when they go to the pros. If it ain't about Dallas, it ain't about nothing. You're saying Darren McFadden would be some great runningback here? Garrett would still figure some way to get the guy to have 70 yards in two games. So don't act like our runningbacks are junkers or something. Go make a cognitive deficiency-signaling smiley about that one.

It won't last cause this isn't college.

In the pros you have to be able to break tackles. That is something he couldn't even do in college. In the pros you don't consistently get grand canyon sized holes to run through. This is why MOST pure speed backs that enter the NFL fail.

btw, while 95 yards against the Titans is nice, (though it's still not 100yards) the 145 against the Rams is not impressive. The Rams suck something fierce.

I passed judgment on him before he entered the league and nothing has changed.

I'll believe he's a stud when he can show consistency. In college he ran like a CB that was running with an interception in his hands...no shiftiness, all straight ahead. If he proves me wrong good for him and good for the Raiders. Jason Campbell has a good deep ball and it'll open up play action for them.

There really weren't that many DMac haters. Most would have gladly taken him in Dallas, but not for the price it would have taken to get him. It would have meant trading away a bunch of draft picks, so he was never a realistic option to come to Dallas. It would have also meant letting Barber go, which after 2007 very few thought was a good idea.

I saw the Oakland-St. Louis game. Dmac did a nice job, but I wouldn't call anything he did spectacular. It was a yeoman-like day for him. He had a few scampers of significance, but nothing breakaway, which is what we expected of him coming out of college.

I'm glad he's doing better, but I would still label him as an okay back.

Hold on. The only reason he is starting and playing so much is because Bush broke his thumb. Bush might get some carries this week and will be taking over soon. Then DMac will be a scrub again. In the meantime don't paint the picture he is all that.
