This board isnt in total meltdown after a loss

That really speaks volumes about the current state of our team IMO

Wade's a dead man walking. I expect it to happen by tomorrow.

Yup, I was completely indifferent when they switched away from the Cowboys game to the Chiefs Bills game. I normally flip out if I don't catch every second of the game. Not today, and not for the rest of the season. The players don't care, why should I?

I was glad they switched games was tired of seeing that heartless gutless no will having big bunch of losers play with the star on their helmet.

CBS switched away from a Dallas game because they were being blown out. Embarrassing.

There is no reason for a meltdown if there is not expectations of victory.

Good points.

These are some of the saddest days I have had in cheering for this franchise for 33 years. I hate to even open my e-mail to see what has landed in there today after the debacle that happened today on the field. Terrible.

I've been expecting it for weeks.

Hasn't come.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

Gotta happen eventually, right?

The reason is that our 1-5 record made our new 1-6 record not so hard to stomach. This might be the first meaningful game in years that I didn't feel upset or sick about afterwards. I look at loses at this point as a win win win situation from this point on. Better draft choices, hopefully, a new coaching staff headed by Cowher, and some humble pie served to a team in bad need of it. Now, maybe we'll get serious about how to head a team build a team and play a game of football.

Amen brother......right on the money!

People aren't angry because apathy is beginning to overtake the fan base. And trust me when I say that nothing strikes fear into Jerry's heart more than apathy. It is his kryptonite.

Remember last season when he encouraged fans to be angry? He did so because he knew, if fans weren't angry, they simply wouldn't care. They would stop driving the national sports conversations towards his team. They would stop buying merchandise. They would stop attending games. The networks and sports talk radio would simply stop talking about the Cowboys. Jerry and his team would fade into Detroit Lion-esque levels of obscurity.

Jerry thrives off the spotlight and people talking about him. He's a publicity junky, and he'll take it anyway he can get it. This includes bad publicity. Apathy, however, means that no one cares about Jerry.
