Romo is throwing an INT every 2.9 times out of 100 attempts so far this year.
Last year Romo was throwing an INT every 3.7 times.
In 2006 he threw one every 3.9 times.

IMO anything under 3.0 is good. For comparison sake here are some other QB's

Tom Brady career 2.4
Perton Manning 2.8
Carson Palmer 3.1
Drew Brees 2.7
Eli Manning 4.2
Kurt Warner 3.4
Matt Hasselbeck 2.7
Donovan McNabb 2.1

I'll feel better when he breaks this current streak of seven straight games with an INT.

The red zone INTs are just more painful and loom larger.

I didn't have much of a problem with the one yesterday. The DB made an outstanding read and covered a lot of ground to get there.

I think I would rather have a INT in our red zone vs having on in THIER red zone. (ie inside our own 20)

it is what it is, Romo is gonna be Romo. his int yesterday was more of the defender being very well prepared and making a great play on the ball. as long as he cuts down on his ints in critical situations i will be happy. i'll take 3 tds and 1 int a game for the rest of the year. 48 tds and 16 ints...

I agree. That was good coaching and the safety making an excellent play.

Why dont we run exotic coverages like that??

Romo has developed one nasty habit of throwing a pick a game. *** is that? ITs like his game is not complete unless he makes a least one moronic play. Im just wondering what week Romo is going to play a boneheaded free game. HOpefully playoffs.

Great play by the Skins D there but Tony really has to stop, and read, that something is up in the coverage and that there is simply no way that the Skins were actually running a coverage that was just going to allow him to throw a simple 12 comeback there and let Austin have a free first down.

He's got to see that and adjust accordingly and so does Austin. A pump fake there, and Austin running more of a post back to the middle of the field would have turned in a huge play.

Jason Campbell is 0.0 this season

Yeah-he's played very well this season. How he's learned Zorn's complicated system in a matter of weeks, compared to Gibbs' more simplistic system almost never has surprised the heck out of me.

I always thought he had pretty good potential, now he's showing it.

Throw the ball as often as Dallas does, in situations that are so obvious, and you're bound to throw some INTs. Tony has made some bad plays this year, but I didn't have a problem with him yesterday.

If we're going to sling the ball all over the place, we're going to throw INTs. Everyone loves those high flying offenses in theory, but there are downsides to them as well. In fact, when you sling the ball 47 times and only have 1 INT, you've had a good day. Besides, I think Garrett was just outsmarted on that pick yesterday, anyway.

Stats on INT's dont mean squat.

If you are throwing INT's when in lead then thats one thing.

If you are throwing INT's with game in balance. Thats another.
A pig with lipstick is still a pig.

Mistakes could have cost us in a few games already.... NOW they did. Period.
