Go to about 4:55 in the video, and another player tackles Pollard the same way, as if they were coached to take him down the way that got him injured.

On this play, he doesn't get injured, and it goes unnoticed by most of the fans, analysts.

Doubt players have 'spiracy marching orders. It's just an unorthodox way players make tackles. Wouldn't mind it being outlawed but I doubt there's dirty intentions behind it the same way I believe horsecollar tackles weren't dirty. It's getting someone down by any means neessary that happens to be hazardous.

The Seahawks were notorious for this style of tackling and rolling ankles after tackling a player. I honestly told my buddies while watching this game live, they were trying to hurt Pollard.

The tackle in this video is a little different than the one that broke Pollard's leg. The defender seems to just be sliding in this video, which is in contrast to the injury tackle where video clearly shows the defender launching himself onto the back of Pollard's legs.

No one noticed because it's a tackle. You can get hurt while being tackled regardless. Football is a contact sport, injuries happen. You're coached to tackle guys.
Strange........ I don't remember a coach ever teaching a defender to launch himself onto the back of the runners legs. The hip drop is a designed technique with one purpose, and it isn't just to make tackling easier.

Either way, the DC by far lost their best offensive player when Pollard was hurt. I hope Pollard can heal back to his past form or our offense could really struggle this year without a run game.

I don't think either tackle was dirty or inappropriate in any way

Right.
As they allow a player to still be pulled down by his hair if it if sticking out of his helmet. Players grab onto what they can to make a tackle, and inadvertently grab a face mask at times. Or the horse collar tackle.
I am sure maybe some on on purpose to avoid TD. But not too many players are out to injure other players.
Sure there were / are some dirty players / plays. But the majority just happen.

It may not be dirty but it sure is dangerous. Players may not be trying to hurt others but they have to know it is conducive. I feel like if I wanted to hurt someone that is probably how I would go about it.

That hip drop tackle is as dirty as it comes. Been saying this for years. Granted some plays just happen to fast and sometimes unavoidable / unintentional

If you watch the Pollard tackle in slow mo he purposely dropped his hips. It's clear as day

You are correct about the Seahawks. They did it twice in the playoff game against us in 2018. Totally destroyed Allen Hurns ankle and almost took out Cole Beasley on the same kind of tackle. It definitely looked like they were tacklign that way intentionally. It is the equivalent of a horse collar tackle without grabbing the collar. The tackler allows his body to fall down with all it's weight on the back of the tackling players legs below the knees.

Payton was fined for bounty gate. It happens. The first time he gets up limping, the second time they tackled him the same way.

If we get a TE who can smash guys up front, we can solve a big part of that problem.
