Forever Moored: Stern of the USS Manzanita Is Converted Into a $2M Home

They did a nice job with it. I don't know much about the location but I bet the waterfront location is a big reason why it costs $2 million.

Slightly related.
In the rabbit hole that is Youtube where you start watching one thing and hours you find yourself watching something completely different.

Recently started watching some videos from England with a guy who owns and travels around on the long narrow boats.
Kind of looks like a mobile home on the water. Travels up and down the various water ways. Although one would think it is mostly rivers, it is actually mostly canals and some of them are very narrow.
Plus they have some locks and aqueducts and other transition points that are interesting.

That's just strange. I wonder if the owner makes everyone call him Captain.
Shiver me timbers, ya matey's here for happy hour?
