That's how Pgh won the superbowl. How much signing bonus did the steelers have to pay the refs? Was it a one-year contract? Also, find a veteran in his final year whose hometown just happens to be where the superbowl is being played. Sympathy gets you a lot of points. Welcome to the WWNFL.
Funny how Tagliabue called Dan Rooney before anyone else to tell about his retirement. And then Tags asked Rooney to e-mail the other 31 owners. Maybe Tags was looking for something from Rooney? Or maybe he got a nice bonus? Good riddance Tags! Don't let the door hit you in the rear end on the way out.
