Unless he became the Head coach off a scratch off game or something.

He stuck with Pittsburg for a few years after being released here

Well kinda...they signed Tavon Austin that offseason, so I guess they felt they no longer needed him and traded him for a DL, Jihad Ward, who didnt even make it out of training camp.
This was always an odd move because this FO normally doesn't just give up so quickly on its young drafted players who have shown they can play a little bit.

And Jihad Ward is still playing in the NFL!

As always, it's who you know.
Tulsa is such small potatoes, their assistants are usually new to coaching, have limited experience or fresh outta HS. However he got the position, it's a good opportunity for him to get his feet wet.
