Sam Farmer, of the Los Angeles Times, reports former NFL QB Cade McNown is suing two insurance companies for failure to pay his $5 million NFL disability policy. McNown, whose pro career ended in 2003, filed a lawsuit this week in Los Angeles County Superior Court against underwriters from Lloyd's of London and Peterson International, claiming they failed to make good on his policy after he suffered a career-ending shoulder injury. McNown also seeks to recover attorney fees and costs, and punitive damages.

If he wins the suit, why don't we all chip in, buy Quincy Carter a policy, then see if anyone will sign him. When they don't, we can claim that an injury is why he isn't playing! Should be a sure thing! The only way we lose is if he does hook up and becomes a starter somewhere. Like I said - a sure thing!

The premuim on Quincy's policy would be HUGE! No way any one short of Donald Trump could afford it.
Pay $4.99m for a $4.999m policy.
