I am watching the Cards game right now and I am very curious about something. I never heard of a Forward progress stop, is there a signal for it? Is it going to take the place of refs calling down by contact since it seems it cannot be reviewed? I thought that was kind of cheap for the refs to say that.

Thats been a rule for a long time. I remember as a kid you could see 2 or 3 defenders stand up the ball carrier and another guy just come in and try and take the ball away. I remember seeing it work several times to. Anytime you see the ball carrier stood up and starting to get pushed back they always blow the whistle.

Yeah I know that but the only one that hit him was Wilson and it was pretty quick. I just thought it was wired is all.
