Free agency is 25 days away and the Draft is 68 days away. Jerry wants to win it all in 2022 and the only way to accomplish that is to go all in and that means resignings, free agency and making deals in the draft.

Restructure Prescott, Lawrence, Cooper, Martin, Collins. Trade Jarwin, Brown, Lewis for a cap saving of $63,902,861 and after the negative 21 million we are over the cap, it would give us 42 million over the cap.

Free Agents:
1. Resign Randy Gregory DE - probably 5 year deal averaging $13 million, 1st year cap $5 million
2. Resign Jayron Kearse S/LB - probably 3 year deal averaging $7 million, 1st year cap $4 million
3. Resign Cedrick Wilson WR - probably 3 year deal averaging $6 million, 1st year cap $3.5 million

There will be other resigning but none over the 1 year deals. Did not include Gallup because believe he and Schultz will be offered way more than we think. Wouldn't be surprised at Dorrance Armstrong coming back on a 2 year deal if he doesn't get the $$ he thinks he will.

4. JuJu Smith-Schulter WR - probably 1 year prove it deal at $3 million
5. Marcus Williams S - probably 5 year deal averaging $15 million, 1st year cap $5 million
6. Dante Fowler, Jr. DE - probably 2 year deal averaging $4 million, 1st year cap $2 million
7. Josey Jewell ILB - probably 3 year deal averging $5 million, 1st year cap $3 million
8. O.J. Howard TE - probably 3 year deal averging $5 million, 1st year cap $3 million

There could be others like Will Hernandez OG if they believe he can play LG or Justin Reid S if they think he just had a bad year in Houston due to the crazy stuff there or Brian Allen OC from the Rams but the cost would be high on him.

Draft:
Who really knows what will happen until the day of the draft. Some will rise, some fall and some surprises. No QB, IMO, is worth a 1st pick this year but probably 4 will go in the 1st. The value still are QB, DE, LT, CB, LB and WR so other guys rated higher like OC, OG, DT and S will fall, i.e. Hamilton S is probably best over all player and probably goes top 10 but around 10 definitely don't see him in top 5.

32. Tyler Linderbaum OC Iowa - while we all know he is ranked top 15 the fact is that he is undersized for today's OL, believe he mirrors a lot of Travis Frederick who weighed 305 at the combine, great center and great at getting to second level, many teams will undervalue him but if we look at Dallas centers over the years, fits the mode with athleticism and intelligence. Does not make penalties and stands his ground. Dallas trades #24 and #56 to Lions for #32 and #34.

34. Bernard Raimann OT Central Michigan - will initially play LG for Dallas before moving to LT in a year or two, has unique gifts of athleticism and intelligence. Strong at the point of attack and moves very well. Having Linderbaum and Raimann solves the OL in 2022.

65. Travis Jones DT UConn - strong immovable object, great over large hands, great strength, will control middle of the DLine, will be the run stopper we need although probably a 2 down player, not much of a pass rusher yet

88. John Metchie WR Alabama - not as big as listed and combine will prove that out, also not a speed guy, great hands, great routes but he will be a slot WR in the NFL much like Cole Beasley was for us.

4th round. Zyon McCollum CB Sam Houston St - actually one of the best CB in the nation last year although from a small school, has the height, length, and speed that Quinn will fall in love with and could actually push Joseph for a starting spot, smart player and can tackle very well

5th round. Austin Allen TE Nebraska - big guy at 6'8" 260, big hands, catch the ball well, Big Ten TE of the year, smart guy, leader, blocks very well, not fast (4.9 40), great target in red zone, can block DEs one on one with good success.

5th round. Brian Robinson RB Alabama - more of a road grader, always going downhill, great blocker, built like a LB, great in goal line runs, protects his QB, pass catcher is okay, (projected 5th round comp)

6th round. Ochaun Mathis DE TCU - bit underrated guy, good skills, can be a situational pass rusher with good speed

Priority free agents:
Christian Allen LB Alabama - out all of last year but could be a great steal as UDFA, much better than current RFA on the rosters

Jequez Ezzard WR Sam Houston St - in all seriousness he would be a steal, could be the KR and PR and the Tyree Hill/Antonio Brown type guy as he has that type speed and elusiveness

Brock Purdy QB Iowa St - may be drafted but if not then we should make him a deal quick, great arm, needs directions but he is much better than any of our current backup QBs

Roster and Why.
QB - Prescott, Rush - Purdy would be given a chance to beat out Rush but Taxi squad for a year would be good also

RB - Elliott, Pollard, Robinson - with the OL fixed the run game should get back to being a force and Robinson allows for some road grading especially when Elliott needs a rest, Pollard will get more touches this year as a more Deebo Samuel type as will Lamb

TE - McKeon, Howard, Austin - believes gives us 3 very good TE and one (Austin) we can use a lot as a blocker. Howard needs the scenery change from Tampa Bay and could give us what everyone thought he would be coming out of college

WR - Cooper, Lamb, Wilson, Smith-Schulter, Metchie, Ezzard - I believe you keep great player and Cooper is a great player, Wilson goes back to the WR4 spot and specialties, Metchie will work himself into a slot role, Smith-Schulter could be a surprise if he can regain his old form and Ezzard gives us a dynamic returner at worst, just more weapons we can use

OT - Smith, Collins, Steele, Ball - the health of Smith is the key but drafting Raimann was a two fold option in that he starts at LG but could be moved to LT if needed unless Ball is ready to assume that role of which he was drafted to do

OG - Martin, Raimann, McGovern - there will be a fourth in either a free agent like Hernandez or maybe a taxi guy like Alarcon whom they seem to like

OC - Linderbaum, Biadasz - believe Linderbaum gives us the best OL combo but Biadasz is definitely capable if needed although these 9/10 guys gives Dallas a better OL situation in 2022 than it has had in a couple three years

DT - Gallimore, Odighizuwa, Hill, Jones, Bohanna - not sure we keep 5 here but would not surprise me either. Gallimore and Odighizuwa will alternate as should Bohanna and Jones, hoping Bohanna has a breakout year

DE - Lawrence, Gregory, Golston, Fowler, Mathis - a healthy Lawrence all year will make a big difference and allow Parsons to be used all over the place

LB - Parsons, Cox, Jewell, Kearse, Allen, Bernard - the way Quinn uses the LB/safety spots leads me to put Kearse here but with Cox and Jewell this LB corp is going to be lights out

CB - Diggs, Joseph, Wright, McCollum, Goodwin, Robinson - those 1st four are going to make a big difference this year, big difference

S - Wilson, Williams, Mukuawu - maybe a fourth if they resign Kazee or Hooker, good see Kazee and Williams as the starters here also

ST - Zuerlien K (until someone beats him out), McQuade LS (will be a resign), Niswander P (has great ability and Anger $$ will probably reason to move on).

So just my take this day in February, make the trenches better, improve the defensive run stopping, better overall weapons should make for a better year.
