free agent busts

Does he or does he not lead the NFL in catches?

Did he or did he not drop a HUGE pass v Washington?

Did he or did he not yell at Parcells after the 15 yd sleep routine?

Nothing above is debatable, why? b/c They are Yes or No questions...

Buh bye ...:lmao:

Bill said in his PC that Owens didn't yell at him.

But you only pay attention to what you want. Of course, with a tiny brain I realize that only so much can go in.

Marcus Coleman has been a bust. We waited four suspended games to insert him in the lineup only to lose him to a DUI isse.

A guy that gets a minimum contract can never be termed a bust.

which site had that article that included TO? idiots, he's tied for receiving TDs, and is our team's leading receiver

yeah, big bust

it must be the imagined 'distractions' :lmao2:

and he's quickly seperated from Keyshawn Johnson, who many thought we would be better off w/

"All he does is score TDs". Buddy Ryan.

Marco Rivera has been a bust. The Boys did not get what they paid for.

I still think that's a bit up in the air.

Rivera's salary is actually pretty average for an NFL guard (most people don't realize that). He's playing decent this year after a subpar 2005. However, from hearing Petitti's dad talk about Rivera, Parcells, and other O-Lineman....Rivera's experience and leadership is supposedly extremely helpful to guiding the O-Lineman in what it takes to be a good NFL O-Lineman.

If Rivera keeps playing the way he's playing this year (which is decent) and can do it next season, and guys like Gurode, Kosier, and Colombo continue to develop. I'll consider him pretty much worth what Dallas has paid for him.

Boss: nyc, I need a list of all the free agent busts in the NFL.
nyc: Sure.

SQL Statement: SELECT player FROM Commanders WHERE how_acquired != draft;

Coleman was paid near the minimum for only 1 year. He didn't take up a roster spot when he was suspended for 4 games. When he got off suspension, he took up Suisham's spot (big deal).

He didn't work out, but I tend to think of a bust as somebody you put high stakes into and fails you. Coleman was of almost no risk and didn't work out.

TO has certainly had a few issues and he has dropped a few passes, but a BUST .......? He's far from that - the term "bust" suggests that he hasn't done any of the things he was brought in to do, and no rational person can say that. He has made some big catches and big plays, he draws double teams thereby opening up opportunities for others, and he gives the team a sense that the offense can strike at any time. He also has put up some pretty good numbers for the season.

True enough, I stand corrected. But apparently he was a waste of roster space.

John Abraham is my biggest off-season bust. Played like 2 games for the Falcons and the rest he's injured.
