OL - David Quessenberry

The Buffalo Bills are cutting ties with a veteran offensive lineman who has played both tackle spots, starting 26 games over the course of his five-year career. The Cowboys could use some veteran help on the offensive line and Quessenberry could be an answer.

LB - Deion Jones

Before his stint with the Panthers, Jones was a Pro Bowl player under Dan Quinn with the Atlanta Falcons and played with the Cleveland Browns last year. Jones has five 100+ tackle seasons to his name, his last one coming in 2021.

OT - Tyre Phillips

If the Cowboys are still looking for a quality swing tackle option, Phillips could fill that role. Phillips has started 18 games over three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and Giants. He also has guard flexibility.

LB - Nicholas Morrow

The six-year veteran LB was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles, who signed him this offseason. Morrow had stops with the Las Vegas Raiders and the Chicago Bears, with whom he had a career year with in 2022, registering 116 tackles. Dallas was interested in Morrow this offseason, which could be a sign the team likes the 28-year olds game.

C- Tyler Larsen

The Cowboys currently don’t have a backup center after releasing Matt Farniok, so adding Larsen might make sense. Larsen has started 29 games over the course of his eight year career, but was released by the Washington Commanders.

OL - Alex Leatherwood

The former first-round pick of the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021 has proven to be a bust. Leatherwood has played both guard and tackle with the Raiders and the Bears, but failed to meet expectations.

OL - Gernaine Ifedi

Ifedi has played multiple positions on the offensive line for four teams and has 83 starts to his name, but was recently cut by the Detroit Lions.

LB - Christian Kirksey

After keeping just four traditional LBs, the Cowboys could use a solid veteran LB. Kirksey is a nine-year veteran who had 124 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions last season. There’s still some tread left on these tires.

C - Darryl Williams

Williams has been in the NFL for four seasons with very little palying time, but he’s still 26-years old and play a position where the Cowboys need a backup.

LB - Carlo Kemp

Kemp found some success in the USFL before being signed by the Los Angeles Chargers, who released the 25-year old LB.

Leatherwood didn't make it long, total bust? Maybe with a change of scenery he can be backup, don't know what his rookie contract looks like.

Much appreciate the list and have to say that list is like trying to find a good apple in a winter apple orchard.
Apple cider is always doable before complete expiration of the fruit...sorry, I still like the beverage. Agree with you.

I kind of like where the new offensive line coach has that group to at present. I'm presently counting on a 2.0 second wall and the working of both the running and passing games.

Deion jones is a must to sign at this point. Unless there’s a trade coming. I heard Devin bush name out there.

I’d be looking hard at Jones and Leatherwood.

Almost the season for warm apple cider in my neck of the nation. Nothing better than a little Laird Apple Jack with it on a cool evening in front of a fire pit.

Dang you yankees I'm a bit jealous as there's no apple orchards in sweltering SE Tx. I haven't done apples outside of a store.

I did live in Maine for 18 months and saw apple orchards and I hear there is an apple festival in Medina County, Texas west of San Antonio.

But I have harvested lots of mayhaws and picked bunches of pears.

Dude is washed and sucked in Cleveland last year. He couldn’t last with them despite a need at LB. He’s done, Kirksey is the best pick at this point for LB depth with life left on the wheels.

Peaches and pears are easy in Texas...but there is a variety of apple that will grow in Texas.

I rather kirksey too. 10000% but I said it just because of connections to Quinn. There’s a reason jones was released by panthers quick

Justin Pugh remains the guy whose signing would make me feel much more confident about our chances

Las Vegas Raiders: OG Alex Bars

Bars started 14 games for the Raiders during the 2022 season and performed at an adequate level. However, the Raiders believe in Greg Van Roten and he has won the starting right guard job in Las Vegas. It’s also worth noting that the Raiders released Netane Muti, who played well at guard in the preseason. The Raiders were one of the few teams to bring back all five offensive line starters for 2023, but they will have a new starting unit with Bars now off the roster. – Marcus Mosher, Raiders Wire

Los Angeles Chargers: OL Zack Bailey

There wasn’t another Chargers offensive lineman throughout the summer as consistent and dominant as Bailey. Despite his efforts, he was waived. Bailey was cut in favor of Brenden Jaimes as the ninth offensive lineman. Jaimes played more center than guard this summer, and Los Angeles already has Will Clapp as the backup center to Corey Linsley, whereas Bailey showed a lot more at tackle and guard. At the end of the day, Jaimes has been around for a few years and still provides interior versatility. Bailey should be on the practice squad if he clears waivers. – Gavino Borquez, Chargers Wire
