1. What would you do for the next three years, if money were not an issue?

Establish No-Kill shelter/Low cost vet facilities in the rural areas of the state (Virginia). There are many rescues in the Richmond area and up in Northern VA, but the rural areas don't have good shelter systems and not much in the way of low cost veterinary care.

2. What is bringing you the most joy right now that requires little or no money?

Spending time with my husband and daughter.

3. Is there anything you've been meaning to do for a long time, but put off because of money?

Pay off the mortgage. ;) Seriously, probably take down some trees on our land. After the hurricane took down a massive oak tree in the back yard, we thought it might be worth considering to have a few that are closer to the house removed. It's really pricey to get done, though.

4. Who is the first person you would tell if you won the lottery?

Kilyin buys the lottery tickets for us, so he would be the one telling me.

5. What's on deck for the weekend?

Adoption stand on Saturday, borrowing the neighbor's walk behind weed eater to clear out the overgrown grass in the yard. The weather got warm and rainy so quickly that it's like the jungle in some spots, too much for the mower. Probably mow the rest of the yard, too.

I can't even think that far ahead.

I'll cross that bridge if I survive the heart attack.
