5. Plans for the weekend?

1. Fertilized cow pastures remind me of my summertimes in Vermont as a kid. Three months of fishing, rope swings, waterskiing, and michief. I'll never get another chance at that, I think.

2. Vermont. Fishing. I think I'll go try and get some Brown trout this sunday.

3. I have my grandfather's WWII id tags on my keychain, and his Colt issue sidearm. He gave them to me shortly before he passed. Man of a dying breed. Type of guy that could take torqued bolts off with his bare hands all day.

4. Fried Chicken

5. I have to work for a while tomorrow. Probably go fishing sunday and grill out sunday evening.

5. Plans for the weekend?

1. Baking bread or baking anything really. My grandmother used to make so many baked goods, all of which were delicious.

2. I'm missing one of my stray cats, Lola. She's young and little, and a little gimpy on one leg. She usually doesn't stray far, but she's been gone for 3 days. I'm scared something has happened to her.

3. I have the diamonds from my paternal grandmother's wedding rings, one of which is my engagement ring diamond. My father gave them to me when Kil and I got engaged.

4. Cookies or ice cream. I try to keep neither on hand for that very reason.

5. Mow the grass, clean up the yard a little more, clean the house, load up my new (and first!) iPod with some music!
