My department at work, which is typically not bonus eligible, got a bonus this year. Yay!

Enjoyed some warm weather and sunshine. Beautiful.

I'd declare 9/11 a national holiday.

Maybe some yard work if its not too rainy.

Hearing my son laugh out loud for the first time.

Not sure, i have to think about this some more but 9/11 does seem appropriate.

5. Plans for the weekend?

Spend time with my son tomorrow while my wife is spending the day at the spa and work on an article for publication.

5. Pick my wife and daughter up at the airport. (4 hour drive one way) Daughter competed in Germany then spent a week there. Meeting on Sunday.

1. the lack of urgency shown by celtic in our must win game against rangers two weeks ago - not a good surprise.

2. i have no idea what donut holes are but i prefer savoury things to sweet so have had maybe 2 donuts in the last year.

3. got football manager for my laptop. unfortunately that has led to a lack of sleep.

5. working today until half past eight then straight out for drinks with a couple of friends who are away to work in france for seven months. the girlfriends away for the weekend with her parents so i'll probably have a lazy day about the flat tomorrow.

A donut hole is the piece that is cut out of the middle of the donut then fried and coated the same way a donut is. It's basically a small ball donut.

Kansas.

The state is short of money (I know big surprise) so they want to tax 12 oz. cans .10 cents and 20 oz. bottles .15 cents. Just regular soda not diet soda also.

I knew I recognized a familiar geographical term. I grew up on Nebraska and said "pop" for years until I moved to NY, at which point it became "soda." :D
