1. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how polite are you? It really varies on the circumstance. I hold the door open for ladies. I still open the door for my wife everywhere we go and have for 20 years. At church I have responsibilities for a lot of people's needs and I try my best to meet them. But I'm not very patient with idiocy. I would say overall a 7 or an 8, but this forum sees me as a 3 or a 4.

2. When was the last time you learned something new? This morning. I learned something was on the software here while I was looking for something else to reset the edit time.

3. What’s overdue for a good cleaning? My truck. It's a work truck, so I don't care, but I have not washed it in probably 2 months.

4. Who’s overdue for a phone call or letter to you? Since I have been updating friends and family on my Mom's condition, no one. It has been a long time since I could say that.

5. Plans for the weekend? I have a niece and nephew getting baptized on Saturday and then we have a picnic at the park later that day and Church on Sunday. I will have to watch the game on NFL Rewind.

9/10. I was raised to be polite. I hold doors open for people everyday. I am very polite until countered with rudeness. I can be a complete dick if I have to be!

Saturday: Watch Nebraska game at 2:30 (GO CORNHUSKERS!) Hit up 3 art shows with my bff Ryan. Maybe a break-dancing event as well. BOYS NIGHT OUT YO!! lol

1. Depends on mood and other's expectations of what good politeness is. Minimum 7, IMO. My attempts at a 10 can be viewed as a 5 to others and other's attempts at a 5 I could see as a 10 if I'm having a misanthropic day.

2. A few minutes ago I learned that shareholders of C Corporations can borrow up to $10k from the corp free of interest. About an hour ago I was reading about minerals in Mongolia. This morning I learned that I can scratch my ears hands-free with my headphones if I shake my head the correct way. I'm sure I learned much more, but you can't always directly recall things when doing incremental reading.

I wish that were the case....but you try explaining that to her. She's 9-5 Mon-Fri while I'm 24 hours on, 48 hours off......that might be part of it.

5 is sounding a bit like me. Son has a Birthday party this Sunday and I'll likely miss an hour or so of the game. I've gotta catch it on DVR.
