1. Who are/were your biggest life influences? Growing up with a single Mom, it is easily her. I called her every Father's Day as well as Mother's Day. She was one of a kind.

2. What's your favorite summertime snack? Nice cold watermelon.

3. What magazines do you have subscriptions to? Magazines?

4. Best place you ever went swimming? The municipal pool in my hometown as a youth and teenager. It wasn't the greatest pool (far from it) but I have so many memories there that it is still special to me.

5. Plans for the weekend? Church and a BBQ with my sister's family.

1. Grandfather (by far the most influential), Metallica (music wise), Carl Sagan, Albert Einstein, and I don't know maybe Jack Horkheimer
2. My snacks don't depend on the season.
3. Linux Journal and I will probably subscribe to Sky and Telescope soon.
4. Not sure how to answer this. I will say when I went diving 40 feet below the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Grand Cayman.
5. Hopefully use my new telescope I got for fathers day.

1. My father...I learned a lot from both his mistakes and triumphs

A little bummed I missed this on Friday, so I'm bumping on a Sunday to fill in the blanks

1. My dad was and is my biggest life influence. If I can somehow figure out how to be half the man that he is, I'll be doing alright in life.

2. I enjoy lots of things...my favorite is homemade lemonade, but that really isn't a snack. The summer staples of watermelon & other fruit salads is always great to enjoy. But I don't really "snack" on things...its more about the food - BBQ.

3. Men's Health.

4. Three Tables Beach, in Oahu on the north shore. A small, secluded beach with awesome waves for body-boarding one hour, and calm waves for snorkeling the next. I have fond memories of climbing the rock face next to the beach and jumping in the water, and seeing just about every sea creature you can think of while exploring or snorkeling, from crabs to sharks.

5. Friday I went to a birthday party for a friend, Saturday I went to another friend's summer barbecue, and it was excellent. Today was church, and going down to Stafford, VA in a few to go look at my parents' new house.

Stafford....that place brings back memories. Grew up there when my old man was stationed and Quantico and the Pentagon.

2. Don't really have one...but grilled cheese and Lipton Chicken noodle was a favorite childhood lunch.

3. The Horse, Men's Health, Outside, and In-Fisherman. I recommend Outside magazine for anyone that is fairly active outdoors.

4. Skinny dipping in a heated pool during a blizzard during spring break snowboard trip in '03.

5. The norm....chores, errands, fishing, pool.

Stafford....that place brings back memories. Grew up there when my old man was stationed and Quantico and the Pentagon.

It's great...I wish my law school was closer to Stafford to be honest. Such a great area. Quiet and beautiful.
