1. What's the most recent new word you learned? Sadly, planking.

2. What's the story behind one of your scars? Nasty motorcycle wreck.

3. What were the longest and shortest duration of your romantic relationships? Longest is my marriage, which will be 21 years in December. Shortest is about a week. Girl was a psycho.

2. My only scar comes from the removal of a cluster of cells that had become sort of log jammed and wrapped around my spine. It started with severe pain like a belt around my mid-section, and progressed to a numbness in my legs and eventually paralysis and gradually moving upward. It was emergency surgery to keep it from paralyzing my heart. I regained my legs and what not within 10 days, with some lingering after effects. I was 13 yo.

3. 1 week with some girl - 19 years with my wife of 10 years.

1. What's the most recent new word you learned? "Jurat" meaning "sworn" at the bottom of an affidavit.

2. What's the story behind one of your scars? The boring one is just an arthroscopic knee surgery from 2004. The good one is a series of three scars that are all but gone now that I got when I was in 3rd grade playing "karate" with a friend in our basement while using a pole from a window trimming. I stabbed myself in the shin.

3. What were the longest and shortest duration of your romantic relationships? Shortest? 15 minutes but in all seriousness the longest is the one that I am in now. Nearly 4 years and it will likely be an eternity.

4. If you were to leave the Purple Board would you say good-bye? Purple Board?

5. Plans for the weekend? Today's my birthday, so I'm doing the lazy man thing today. Other than that helping mom and dad prep to move into the new house this next week, and hopefully getting to church on Sunday. They had to pull up the carpet because of asbestos.

2. Drug down a flight of stairs by my 80 lb (at the time) pit bull because he needed to go pee...8 stitches in the back of my head

Wombles - The groups of people cleaning up London after the rioting were calling themselves Riot Wombles after this.

I got bit in the face by my step-mother's dog.

Shortest, who knows. Probably something in Junior High. Longest is my current relationship with Kilyin. We've been together for 8 years, married for 5.

Nah. People that I'd want to remain in touch with already know how to do that. Goodbye posts are self-serving and feel like you are wanting people to beg you to stay.

Do a little yard work since the weather will be giving us a little break.

Definition: To spray with Excreta :laugh2: No lie. Found this word on Monday this week.

2. What's the story behind one of your scars?

2 inch scare coming off my right eyebrow. My older brother bit me when I was 13. He figured the football was his, even though it had my name on it. I took it...he bit me.

3. What were the longest and shortest duration of your romantic relationships?

Shortest:
7th Grade Relationship: Lasted 3 weeks. Tara found out I kissed Penny and broke up with me. I never have cheated on a girl since. Tara was beautiful. Penny..well....not so much. :

Longest:
About 3 years. Ex wife n all. Ugly story etc..etc..

4. If you were to leave the Purple Board would you say good-bye?

I would say good-bye to my close friends via PM only. WG tends to laugh and make fun of those who do it publicly.

5. Plans for the weekend?

My son's mother is in town with him for the next week or so. It's completely IRrEsponsible Parent Time. What trouble could I possibly get into?

So to answer your question. I am doing ADULT things that I cannot do around my child.

1. What's the most recent new word you learned? Planking. I still don't understand.

2. What's the story behind one of your scars? As a crazy teenager, I was riding on a hood of a car when the driver suddenly hit the brakes. Two or three body rolls later I not only had a whole in my jeans but some serious road rash on my knee.

3. What were the longest and shortest duration of your romantic relationships? Longest: known my wife for 16 years. Shortest: 20-25 minutes. But it was great while it lasted.

4. If you were to leave the Purple Board would you say good-bye? Yes. No. Does it matter?

5. Plans for the weekend? Work/chores/drink chocolate milk.
