Forgot to say that the game is the Little League World Series...first PA team in forever to qualify (although State College got robbed by Danny Almonte and the cheaters a few years ago)

Can't say I support the Little League World Series. As soon as they prevent those kids from throwing breaking balls, I will get back on board.

Interesting fact, I believe only one pitcher from the Little League World Series ever pitched in the Major Leagues. The reason being, most screw up their arms well before getting there from throwing breaking balls at such a young age with under developed arms.

Just can't support that.

3. If Five Guys counts as fast food, then Five Guys. Otherwise, I am a fan of Chick-Fil-A waffle fries.

4. Hold! ;)

5. Headed to get my hair cut, and then down to Stafford, VA to help my parents try and get their new house situated some more. They're older - don't stay on the go like they used to!

Symphony concert

2. What time did you wake up today?

6am or so

3. Which fast food restaurant, in your opinion, makes the best fries?

Five Guys followed by Chick-fil-a

4. Buy? or Sell?

Both!

5. Plans for the weekend?

Need to get out and cut the grass and do some weed eating.

If the weather stays tolerable, I want to start scooping the old mulch out of the play area in the back yard where the swingset is. The weeds were so bad in it that I want to clean it all out and lay down a bunch of weed killer. Then in the spring, get a preventative on there, get some rolls of weed barrier and get a bunch of new mulch in there.

There is one *art* museum I would go to before kayaking. The Louvre Museum. I've been there before, but the wife rushed me through it only giving me about an hour. If you've ever been to the Louvre, you would know that you can't even sprint through all the hallways it in an hour is so enormous. It's an all-day event and could easily be more.

That is easily the most upset I've ever been while on vacation.

Your argument doesn't seem based in facts.

Quite a few have pitched in the majors, including Jason Marquis and Wilson Alvarez, from the LLWS but that's just from the LLWS.

Over half of the pitchers from the All Star game pitched in little league even if their teams didn't make it to the LLWS and we're seeing an influx now of pitchers making the HOF with little league roots.

That's right, there are two. I forgot about Wilson. (being a Ranger at that)

Anyhow, those are the only two I believe. It's a fact that throwing breaking pitches (specifically curve balls) put a lot of pressure on the elbow. Twelve year old kids have no business throwing them. Their bones, ligaments, and muscles are still developing. It's the same reason 12 year old kids shouldn't be lifting weights either. You don't put unneeded stress on developing bodies.

Twelve year old kids throwing curve balls is just straight stupid. (ask any doctor) It's straight up selfishness that these parents and coaches allow them to throw these pitches.

There's never been any evidence to that.

Look at someone like Sean Burroughs...stud pitcher as an 11-12 year old but even at the time everyone knew that his path to the majors was as a position player. He only pitched because he was bigger and stronger than the other kids at the time. That's the only reason that more LLWS "pitchers" aren't pitching in the majors, not arm trouble.
