I started watching this show a few weeks ago and I am currently on Season 1.
I just saw the episode where Tyra was almost sexually assaulted outside a restaurant while waiting for Landry to tutor her in math.
After the attempted sexual assault, Landry finally arrives but the perpetrator gets away. Tyra tells Landry that she doesn't want anyone to know about what happened.
Landry feels Tyra should inform someone, so he goes to the school guidance counselor, and the counselor convinces Tyra to file a police report, which can be similar to reliving the attempted sexual assault all over again.
The result is that Tyra is infuriated with Landry because she felt he should have respected her decision to not report the incident.
Just curious, do you all feel Landry should respected Tyra's right to privacy or do you think he did the right thing and telling someone about it?
