Fringe gets renewed for a 22-episode season 4

This show is pissing me off.

I've had my ups and down with it, but they really painted themselves into a corner with having Leonard Nimoy be William Bell.

I'm an episode or two behind, but I just saw the episode where Olivia gets possessed by Bell at the end of the episode and I turned it right the hell off.

Don't give me this crap because you can't have Nimoy be a regular on the show, do they really think viewers are this stupid?

This is even before you begin to get into how lame their "cases" have become. I am so disappointed with the show, it doesn't even remotely begin to capture the epic mystery of Lost.

This will bring them to 4 seasons, 87 episodes so unless the ratings become absolutely horid I would fully expect a 5th season, 13 episodes to bring it to the magic 100 episodes for syndication.

I lost interest when they started the alternate universe storyline. I preferred it when they had a new "monster" every week.

I've been enjoying it. Seeing the differnce between Walter and "Walternate" has been fun. They've begun to develop some of the chartacters in the alternate universe, which makes tham more sympathetic. I find the show a welcome relief from the realities of my work and it's something I can talk to my two sons about.

Yeah I think I started growing tired of it around that time as well and just quit watching all together.

Never seen it and only sounds slightly familiar as a show name.

I think PP explains it best. The character building is the strength of the show. The storyline is 1a or 2.
