QUIICK FACTS::
DALLAS COWBOYS (5-4)
AT
WASHINGTON Commanders (6-3)

Series Record:
Dallas leads the series 56-39-2
Last Meeting:
Washington 26, @ Dallas 24, Sept. 28, 2008
Last Meeting in Washington:
Washington 27, Dallas 6, Dec. 30, 2007
Last Cowboys Win:
@ Dallas 28, Washington 23, Nov. 18, 2007
Series Streak:
Washington won three of the last four and five of the last
seven meetings.
Season Series: The Cowboys and Commanders have squared off 97
times, with Dallas winning 56 of those contests.
Series Notables:
* Dallas’s 56 wins over Washington is the most victories over any
other team in the league.
* The Cowboys have faced only one team (Philadelphia - 98)
more times than they faced the Commanders.
* The Cowboys won a series-high 10 consecutive games from
1997-2002.
* The teams played in two playoff games against each other, the
1972 and 1982 NFC Championship Game - both Commanders
wins.
A Cowboys Win Would:
* Give the Cowboys their 15th victory coming out of the bye week
to tie for the third-most wins in the NFL out of a bye.
* Up Dallas’ 2008 road record to 3-3.
* Prevent Dallas from losing three straight games to the
Commanders.
* Snap the Cowboys two-game losing streak to NFC East teams.
* Keep Dallas from dropping back-to-back games for the second
time this season

AMAZING FACT ALERT !!!! YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS !!

Do you know which Commander holds the record for most passing yards
against our Cowboys in a game between the two teams since 1970 ??

I remember that game because we opened the season against them and I thought, "geez, we're going to have a fun year on pass defense. They blew up in the 3rd quarter and we blew up in the 4th quarter. The final score was like 42 to 35 or something pinball like that.

That was a fantastic 4th qtr. Best game I've seen in a long time and hasn't been equaled since. Aikman to Ismail off of a playaction fake to Emmitt on 3rd and 1.

Priceless.

That's the game.

If I remember right, Brad threw no TD passes in that game. Somethings never change.

Well, he actually threw as many TDs in that game as he did in relief this year.

He was 20 of 33 for 382 and 2 tds with NO PICKS, wow, no picks. Brad Johnson played a game where he threw no Ints.
