Didn't notice it the first time when they showed the graphic about the NFC East surprisingly being the best division in football during the Thanksgiving telecast. The graphic featured all quarterbacks, except for the Giants, showing Saquon Barkley instead of Daniel Jones. Wouldn't have been so bad, but even Tayler Heinecke got more respect than Jones.

It’s still a joke overall. None of the QBs in the division are that great. The running game and defenses are what’s keeping this division afloat. Not the QBs.

a division with real QBs is the AFC West. Mahomes, Herbert, occasionally Carr.

AFC North with Burrow, Jackson, and soon to be Watson.

Hurts was considered an MVP candidate in the first half, Daks been gone but he no slouch either. Jones is a bit sporadic but really dosent have weapons outside of Barkley, Commanders are just a mess.

Honestly it's because Saquon is a bigger name than Jones, whereas whoever the Washington RB is isn't a bigger name than Heinecke I guess.

Probably. I just thought it was funny since the other three teams were represented by their QB. You think the ones putting that together would have just put the other QB on there.

How is the best combined record of any division a "joke"? I guess I don't get the negativity.

The NFC East is very solid this year. Even having two legit contenders like Dallas and Philly is better than most.

I don’t know a more overrated quarterback in the NFL then Herbert. He has tools but to me he is more like Stafford on Detroit then a young Dan Marino. The NFC East is clearly the best division in football and has a solid chance to have 4 teams make the playoffs.

Jalen Hurts is in the MVP conversation and Dak is one of the better QBs in the league whether some on this board want to accept it or not. You mentioned Justin Herbert in the AFC West, and granted he’s a good QB but he doesn’t win many games. This is his third season and the Chargers are currently 5-5. He has yet to lead the Chargers to the playoffs. You mentioned Derek Carr who occasionally looks good, but is another QB who doesn’t win many games. The numbers don’t mean much if they’re not equating to wins.

It seems there is plenty of room on the bandwagon in the AFC.

Perhaps all teams in the NFC East have winning records because they've yet to play most of the division games. The cannibalism process hasn't really begun.

Thus far, only three of the twelve inter-division games have been played. There are still nine games left to play.

This means that, barring ties, there will be 9 losses assigned to teams in the NFC East regardless.

Mathematically speaking, it's almost impossible for this division to maintain it's current win/loss rate..

:laugh:Jackson?

Jackson is as gimmick of a quarterback as there ever has been. Maybe even more so than Vick. Vick was a better pocket passer.

Watson is the best QB in that division, but unfortunately the Browns have too many losses for it to matter this year.

One of these are not like the others. It rhymes with Smackson.

And really, I don’t think I’d put Carr in there either.

Imagine thinking Derek Care is a ‘real qb’ but Dak and Hurts aren’t. I mean even Lamar is barely getting by without his legs. Just wow.
