Could Felix be back sooner than expected?

Rookie sensation Felix Jones is nursing a left hamstring strain, but is feeling good about his recovery. He is expected to be out at least two weeks after suffering the injury early in the second half against Arizona and did not return.

Jones was in good spirits on Thursday before heading for treatment.

"Right now I'm feeling pretty good and trying to get better," Jones said.

Jones will miss this week for sure and rookie Tashard Choice expects to jump in and get a few carries.

"It's just another opportunity," Choice said. "I'm going to make the most of this chance."

Choice had five carries for 26 yards in the season opener against Cleveland but has not had a carry since. He also made two big plays on special teams recovering a fumble and on-side kick.

Just like Newman was going to be back sooner than expected, and Spencer was going to be back sooner than expected, and Hurd was going to be back sooner than expected?

Yipppeeeee!!!! But I hope he doesn't rush back. It'll be nice to see what Choice can do.

I hope Jones can get back soon but I would rather him take extra time to get that hamstring right. That can be a lingering injury all season long if not given the proper rest. In the meantime I do look forward to seeing Choice getting some snaps

I'm be happy when he comes back at 100%. I don't think they need to rush him back. I have faith in Choice.

I thought Felix would be out for the season with a severed hamstring, a mortal gunshot wound to the head, and Ebola?

I hope he gets healthy soon. With "Checkdown" at QB, Felix would be getting a great deal of touches in open space and that would be fun to watch.

With the Cowboys trainers? no way! he will be back on the shelf like everyone else this year.

At least each of those guys did take the field before suffering REinjuries of some kind. Hopefully Felix will have better luck.

Hamstring pulls can be a lingering problem if not treated right and given time to heal......especially for a RB who depends on speed like Felix.

I hope for Felix's sake that they don't rush him in.....we will really need him down the stretch and in the playoffs. I agree, at least we have Choice to help MBIII.

I think Fekix misses 3 games, comes back after bye.

If there was ever a time to take charge, it's starts 11/16 in Washington.

especially since they've never seen him.

I hope they don't rush him back as well. But unless I'm gladly wrong TC won't be as dynamic as FJ

The headline for this report makes no sense. Where exactly did Felix hint that he might be back earlier than expected?

Dumb.
