Galloway Limited In First Practice

LAKE BUENA VISTA - Wide receiver Joey Galloway was limited to individual work in Friday's morning practice and that was by design. Galloway missed six games last season with a serious groin injury.
``Joey Galloway's on a program where he'll work most of the time in the afternoon and in the morning he'll go through the individual type work,'' coach Jon Gruden said. ``We'll monitor what he does. He's a guy who will be on a one-a-day routine.``

Galloway won't be the only player practicing just once during the day. Veteran linebackers Shelton Quarles, Derrick Brooks, Jeff Gooch, cornerbacks Ronde Barber and Brian Kelly and defensive end Simeon Rice will also limit their practices to once a day.

On Friday, the Bucs placed three players on the physically unable to perform list (PUP): RB Charlie Garner (knee), WR Larry Brackins (hamstring) and OL Kevin Fischer (lower back).

``Those three guys, once they pass their physical, they'll be active and ready to practice,`` Gruden said.
