Gallup/OBJ- Is the Injury thing a Negotiating Tactic?

Unless there was a botched surgery or another injury we are not aware of, how is OBJ not ready to play when Gallup has been playing for months?

Gallup had his ACL surgery on February 10th.

OBJ had his on February 22nd.

Why isn't OBJ playing yet?

Makes me wonder if the concern is mostly for $$$$ reasons...

I have no familiarity with the surgery, but I imagine it's possible that OBJ's tear was much worse.

I'm guessing he feels pretty good not going back to LA and playing in that disaster. Everyone heals differently right? Even if he is ready to play (cleared medically) he would still need to learn the new system and get in sync with the new QB. As it pertains to us...even if we signed him today he wouldn't get on the field before week 16 IMHO.

OBJ has had 4 injuries, including two ACL tears, to the same leg the last 4 years. He's older and has had more injuries than Gallup.
