I get the feeling we started a soft tank today. But it is so Dallas Cowboys to win a game they want to lose.

I'm a Commanders fan...but good luck.

P.s.I like your forums...way more communal than the 600 ways to get banned forums that just got deleted by the team. (And I was never part of them...just always noticed how people were more cool here...maybe it is a Southern thing.)

P.s.s. Who is the Cowboys GM now? I remember back in the day it was Tex Schramm, but you never heard anything about him. Always Landry and Staubach.
Taking applications if you're thinking about changing over

Kneeland!???
12:19 p.m. - The Cowboys were able to move a couple of players off of IR to the active roster on Saturday before the trip to Washington.
Veteran OT Chuma Edoga has been on IR since the start of the season with a toe injury and he's been moved to the 53. Also, rookie defensive end Marshawn Kneeland (knee) has been taken off of IR and now on the 53-man roster.

Over the last two weeks, when facing a blitz, Daniels has completed just 46.9% of his passes with a -0.805 EPA/dropback. Prior to those two games, both of which were losses, he was hitting on 71.4% of his passes with a +0.526 EPA/dropback. He’s been significantly worse against the blitz while playing through this injury, and it may be the only hope Dallas has against such an explosive offense...

The Commanders have been particularly susceptible on runs between the tackles, with most opposing offenses having their best success running inside on them. Well, no offense runs up the gut more than the Cowboys, and Rico Dowdle has proven to be rather effective for this beleaguered offense. A healthy dose of Dowdle up the gut offers the clearest path to success against the Cowboys’ former defensive coordinator.,,

If the Cowboys are to win this game on Sunday against the Washington commanders, the defense has to create turnovers and give the offense more opportunities to score points. QB Jayden Daniels is having a great season, but he has struggled over the last two weeks against veteran defensive coordinators. Under pressure, per PFF, Daniels is 27th in his overall grade and 29th in completion percentage. When he’s been blitzed, Daniels is the 18th-best passer and ranks 23rd in completion percentage. That means Mike Zimmer needs to time up some good blitzes with Micah Parsons and DeMarvion Overshown. DeMo has generated multiple pressures in each of the Cowboy’s last five games per NFL Pro, and his 30.2% pressure rate is the highest by any defender in the NFL with at least 50 pass rushes this season. Create more opportunities for the offense, and maybe Dallas will have a chance to win...
