Game vs Cinn saw 5 penalties, big improvement

In Cinn game you had 2 personal fouls for hitting Burrow as he was sliding, 1 big goof up on a 4th and 4 when Cinn was punting that gave them the 1st down. Outside of that much better than what they have done. Side not in 2 games thus far Tyler Smith has 1 penalty on him and believe of not it was not holding, it was a false start in Tampa game.

I guess Goodell hates the Bengals more than he hates the Cowboys.

Seriously, though, it was refreshing. The personal fouls were the result of aggressive defense - I'll live with those - and there wasn't much else. Avoided putting Rush in 3rd and long situations with silly mistakes and gave him a chance to win. Let's play that way more often.

Two production requirements for a strong Dallas season have already been met:

1. Own up with the competition presented by the 1st 2 games...there remains 4 teams to show strongly against remaining, 5 games.

2. Become a strongly disciplined team, and the Cowboys are strongly heading that way as well.

Ppl dont really give this the attention it deserves. Those 5 extra penalties against tb and majority being on the offense is the difference between 3 points and 20 points. Rush very rarely had to force anything not dealing with too many 3rd and longs.

down and distance, staying ahead of the chains is big. It is a lot easier converting 3 and 3 as opposed to 3rd 15. Not many plays in a playbook for 3 and 15 but you staying in positive down and distance you keep run\pass option on each down.

Could it also have been the specific officials crew? I know some crews aren't as itchy to throw those yellow flags as others. Like the crew that did our Thanksgiving game last year!!

Fully agree, team. You can't have guys standing around waiting for someone else to make the play. This past game we have several players step up, Armstrong played a big game with 2 sacks as well. OL played a hard fought game without penalties or giving up more than 1 sack. A lot of guys stepped up and we need them to continue to play like that

Thats always the punch in the gut, you hope its unbiased, but it always depends on the crew and rather or not they are twitchy.
You can call OL holding on every single play throughout the entire league in every game if you want to.

This team isn't good enough to gift their opponents 100
Yards in penalty differential.
